The follow-up you keep meaning to send, sent every time

A workflow watches for the moments that matter — a sale, a booking, a finished course — and does the next step while you are busy doing the actual work.

What you get

What stops being your job

It does not depend on you remembering

Follow-up fails on the busy weeks, which are exactly the weeks it matters. A workflow does not have a busy week and does not forget on a Friday.

Customer five hundred gets what customer one got

The care you naturally give your first few buyers is impossible to sustain by hand. Written down as a workflow, it survives growth intact.

It joins the modules together

One workflow can tag the contact, enrol them in the course, move the deal to won and send the welcome email — four modules acting as one because they share a database.

You can see what it did

Every run is logged step by step, with what fired, when, and for whom. Automation you cannot inspect is just superstition with a switch on it.

How it works

Building your first workflow

  1. Pick the trigger

A form submitted, an order paid, a booking confirmed, a tag added, a course completed, a deal won. Real events from the modules you already use.

  2. Add a condition if it needs one

Only for orders above UGX 500,000. Only for contacts tagged Kampala. Only if they have not bought before. Conditions keep the message relevant.

  3. Choose what happens

Send an email, wait three days, add a tag, move a deal, enrol a student, notify your team. Steps run in the order you place them.

  4. Switch it on and check the log

Test it on yourself first, then watch the first few real runs. After that it disappears into the background, which is the whole point.

In practice

Workflows people set up first

  • A lodge in Fort Portal

Asks for a review two days after every guest checks out.

  • An online course seller

Nudges students who have not opened lesson two after a week.

  • A hardware supplier

Chases every quote automatically on day three and day ten.

Questions

Automation, answered

The things people ask us before they move their business across.

  • No. You choose a trigger from a list, then add steps in order. If you can describe the rule out loud — “when someone buys, wait a day, then email them” — you can build it.

  • Anything that actually happens in your workspace: a form filled in, a guide downloaded, an order paid, a booking made or cancelled, a course finished, a deal marked won, a tag added by hand.

  • Yes. A common rule is to remove people from the nurture sequence the moment they buy, so nobody gets a persuasive email about a product they already own.

  • Starter includes 20 active workflows, which covers most businesses comfortably. Pro and Scale are unlimited, for people running different sequences per product or per campaign.

  • Open the run log. Every execution shows which contact went through, which steps ran, what was sent and where anything stopped — so a broken sequence is visible rather than silent.
