One tidy link for the bio, the flyer and the broadcast

What you get

Small links, surprisingly useful

Short links get clicked

A long address full of question marks looks like something to be careful about, and often breaks across two lines in a WhatsApp message. A short one looks like an invitation.

You learn which channel earns

Give the same offer a different link on Instagram, in the newsletter and on the flyer. A week later you know where to spend Saturday morning and where to stop bothering.

Change the destination, not the poster

The offer ends, the page moves, the campaign is replaced. Repoint the link and the flyer already printed, the sticker already on the packaging, still lands somewhere useful.

A QR code for the offline half

Every link carries a QR code, so a menu card, a shop window or a banner at a trade show can lead straight to the page you are measuring.

How it works

Making a link you can measure

  1. Paste the long address

A funnel, a product, a booking page, a WhatsApp chat, even a form on somebody else's site — anything with a web address can be shortened.

  2. Choose the ending yourself

Pick something a person could read out on a radio ad or type from a poster, rather than accepting six random characters.

  3. Use a different link per channel

One for the bio, one for the broadcast, one for the printed card. Same destination, three counters, three honest answers.

  4. Read the clicks

Clicks over time, which sites sent them, which countries and devices they came from. Then retire the channels that never move.

In practice

Where a short link pulls its weight

  • An event promoter

One link per flyer batch, so he learns which suburb actually turns up.

  • A restaurant

A QR code on the table that opens the current menu, updated weekly.

  • A fundraising drive

One link per ambassador, so each knows what they personally brought in.

Questions

Short Links, answered

The things people ask us before they move their business across.

  • Because you learn nothing from it, and it often arrives broken. A tracked short link tells you how many people clicked, from where, on what — the difference between guessing and knowing.

  • Yes. Links can run on a short domain of yours so they read as your business rather than a generic shortener, which noticeably improves how many people trust them enough to tap.

  • Yes, at any time, and every copy already out there follows the change immediately. This is the main reason to use a short link on anything printed.

  • You see totals, sources, countries and device types rather than names — a click is anonymous by nature. If the link leads to a form or checkout, the people who go through become contacts you do know.

  • Only if you want them to. You can set an expiry for a time-limited promotion, and decide where people land after it ends instead of showing them a dead page.
